Luke is a born and raised cheesehead from Green Bay, WI, and now lives in Dallas, TX. He grew up in the church throughout his life and accepted Jesus Christ as Savior in college. The first verse he memorized was Romans 8:39, which also brought him to Christ. Luke is gratefully married to his wife, Erika, and his children are Zander and Freya. He is a current Master of Theology student at Dallas Theological Seminary and is the Student Director at his church. As SMF’s Program Administrator, Luke oversees the production of SMF’s various initiatives, publications, and resources.

Rachel is a blessed wife to a dear husband and a mom to two beautiful daughters. Her husband is her Scripture buddy; he patiently listens to her recitations time and time again. Her three rambunctious cherubs help her by providing ample opportunities to practice and recite in the presence of distractions. She currently runs and oversees her ministry, Scripture Speakers. She inspires and teaches others to be Scripture speakers by demonstrating live recitations and giving encouragement and tips through her book, Speaking Scripture.
