I enjoyed the SMF podcast I listened to this evening, hearing you discuss how to find time to memorize.
What convinced me that I did have time to memorize even in my older years, was hearing (or reading) your recommendation to set aside 15 min a day to memorize Scripture. Surely I could take 15 minutes daily and get back to Scripture memory!
Also on this podcast you mentioned that not many men are memorizing Scripture. I am convinced that a key reason that our daughters memorized Scripture,in your memory program, from pre-school years into teenage years was that their daddy was memorizing too. They would hear him working on saying his verses and they saw that it was sometimes difficult for him too.
Ann, thank you tuning in to the podcast, and for sharing! We’re so thankful to hear that Scripture memory has become a part of your spiritual journey. God’s Word is alive and active (Heb. 4:12). We hope you and your family continue to be blessed as you memorize God’s Word and are encouraged through our podcast!
